Hockey Treadmill Demonstration – A Powerful Tool!

NEXT DEMO AT 12pm ON SATURDAY, MAY 31st at Tekulve

We had a nice showing of X attendees at the first demonstration. Below you will find 2 video clips of Scott Rousseau on the treadmill for the first time.  The combination of the superb instruction by Roger Tekulve, the Treadmill itself and the full length mirror in front of the skater really provides real time self correcting improvement to the skaters mechanics.  The skater can see when his stride is too short. He can see when he is arms are not swinging correctly.  Several of our Bombers had the opportunity to try it out with Roger instructing.  Here are some comments from Scott and his dad Mike who observed the whole process.

Scott: "The treadmill really showed me how to improve my fundamental skating and get the most out of a power stride and arm swing."

Mike:
"It's an excellent way for the players to work on technique and strength. The instructor was very knowledgeable and in tune with each players' needs. What a great opportunity for the St. X hockey program."
